Summer Solstice Cacao Ceremony

Come join us for a Cacao Ceremony as we prepare for Summer Solstice!

Summer Solstice occurs when one of Earth's poles has its maximum tilt toward the Sun. On this day, the Sun reaches its highest point in the sky and gives us our longest day of the year. This day has been celebrated in many traditions and cultures over time. We can see this time as one to celebrate abundance, joy, and community. This is also a great opportunity to turn inward and connect and nourish the light within us so that we may share it with others. In this event, which occurs two days before Summer Solstice, we will come together to set intentions and prepare to welcome in what Summer Solstice has to offer into our lives.

This event includes pranayama (breathwork), gentle movement, time for introspection, and a cacao ceremony that invites in connection and sharing from the heart.

**Please bring a yoga mat, mug for cacao, journal, pen, and anything you’d like to make your seat feel comfy and supported (e.g., meditation cushion, blankets, bolsters, etc.)!
